September 27, 2011 in FiberKC
The FiberKC Advisory Council is a dedicated group of Kansas Citians who are committed to promoting regional growth based upon the unique focus provided from the Google Network Development. We all recognize that the Kansas Cities have a window of opportunity that will not last and we need to move the needle on interest, awareness and action for area development as soon as possible. We are pleased to welcome two new Advisory Council members who bring state and regional attention to the cause.
Bill Thompson, Business Executive and Industry Liasison Workforce Services Division – Northeast Region, for the Kansas Department of Commerce, recently joined FiberKC and will provide valuable insight and support from the state level.
Also new to FiberKC is Victoria Ogier, Workforce Development Project Manager – Mid-America Reginal Council, who is involved in area workforce research, training and development and will make a significant contribution as an Advisory Council member.
We are extremely pleased to add these influential new Council members to the Advisory Board. Welcome to you both!
